Data Deletion Policy - Don Mr.

This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can delete your account and associated data from the Don Mr. App. We are committed to providing you with control over your personal information and making the account deletion process straightforward and transparent.

1. Your Right to Delete

You have the right to delete your Don Mr. account and all associated personal data at any time. When you delete your account, we will remove your profile information, photos, chat history, and any other personal data from our systems.

2. Account Deletion Process

To delete your Don Mr. account, please follow these steps:

Log into Don Mr. App using your registered phone number
Navigate to the "Profile" screen in the main navigation menu
Make sure to cancel your subscription in the App Store or Play Store prior to account deletion
Click "Delete Account" and confirm deletion when prompted

⚠️ Important Note

Subscription Cancellation: You must cancel your subscription in the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) before deleting your account. Account deletion does not automatically cancel your subscription, and you may continue to be charged.

3. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Upon account deletion, the following will occur:

Immediate Effects: Your profile will no longer be visible to other users
Data Removal: Your profile information, photos, and chat history will be permanently deleted from our databases
Access Termination: You will no longer be able to access the app with your deleted account
Matching Disruption: Any active matches or conversations will be terminated

4. Data Retention After Deletion

Please note that all of your data will be deleted upon account deletion. On a case by case basis, we may retain your data due to violations of Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, being cognizant that such data can be shared with law enforcement agencies to assist with investigations as required.

Additionally, some information may be retained for a limited period for:

Legal Compliance: As required by applicable laws or regulations
Fraud Prevention: To prevent and investigate fraudulent activities
Service Improvement: Aggregated, anonymized data for analytics (no personal identification)

5. Recovering Deleted Accounts

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you delete your account and later wish to use Don Mr. again, you will need to:

Download the app again
Create a completely new account
Provide new profile information
Start fresh with new matches and conversations
